Collectibles don't have to hold intrinsic worth either and can be amusing books and other printed collectors items such as postcards.
Unfortunately right now there comes a time in almost every collectors life when their own passion may somewhat diminish. As we get older our concepts mature and perspectives change, however , one collectible area that seldom wanes even as we age, and for many in fact becomes stronger, is that of previous toys. As each generation reaches old age, the toys 5 year old we, played with, were given, and owned, as a child become more than collection, they become reminiscences and a link with a remote past.
